Christmas Wishes

We had a terrific Christmas show, thank you everyone who came and shopped, it was so much fun seeing all of you. A special thanks to my friend Jeanmarie who helped me on Saturday, you are a true blessing and I am so grateful and appreciative.

I feel like I've been holed up too long in my studio and I vowed to take a hike every morning as is always my joy whem I'm not so busy. I haven't spent much time on the computer, I did take a day to list some pretty things in my shop but I didn't have time to promote them. I guess I missed all the before Christmas hoopla but it's okay, taking life a little slower now really feels good, necessary.

I still have a million things to do, a few more orders to fill, but I'm getting there.

The deer miss you and want to send you holiday greetings.

Poor Jo always has to put up with us but when I walked by a bush of red, ripe, Toyon berries, I just couldn't resist…..oh the pain on her face, Banjo says it all with her eyes.

We needed a Christmas card this year and we needed one pronto so tag Banjo, you are it again :)

(stink eye Jo)

She was wondering when we were going to hit the trail again, the outtakes are priceless !

Seriously, I'm wishing all of you a season full of blessings and I feel blessed to know you.

Merry Christmas, Love Ro

  1. I'm glad your show went well!
Your deer are so cute! All ours seem to have a deathwish and like to lollygag in the middle of the road. Very not cute.
Awww, Jo looks so pretty and festive with her berries! What a good dog she is :) Love the stink eye too hehe!
Her collar is so pretty too.
Merry Christmas and enjoy your hikes!

  2. It did DJ it was really wonderful, thank you.

Oh I know what you mean, Eric and I hit some one night driving though a mountain pass, it was either hit the deer or go over a cliff, I'm so glad he was driving and we were in VW bus, higher up, I' not sure what my reaction would have been, it's dangerous!

Oh what kind of dog is Jo……a sporting breed…a very good sport :)

QUEEN of the stink eye … ha hhaaa!!

Thank you I shall, nice rain today, Merry Christmas to you and your family!!

  3. Ahhahahaha. BANJO! You pull of the best 'stink eye'! But aww, you look so darn cute. (Thank you for your forbearance.)

So glad the show went well, Ro. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I'll be able to make one of them next year!

Sending warm wishes and a light dusting of snow. Hope your Christmas is merry and your New Year full of good cheer!

    1. PS. Love them cloudy skies in your banner photo!

  4. Dear Ro, Glad to hear your show went well. If Miss Banjo knew how pretty she looks with a Toyon berry headdress, she would not be giving you the stink eye!!! Hope you & your family have a wonderful holiday time that includes rest & relaxation after the hard work for your show. Maybe a little camping/fishing? xoxoxo

  5. Wishing you peace, joy and health in 2014! Merry Christmas to you, Banjo and the deer!! ;)

  6. Hi sweet Ro,

May you have relaxing holidays with some surprises thrown in! Happy and healthy 2014 too to all the Darrows (two legged and four legged!!). xxxooo

  7. P.S. Banjo, you are *beautiful* !
