Geese appear high over us,
pass, and the sky closes. Abandon,
as in love or sleep, holds
them to their way, clear,
in the ancient faith: what we need
is here. And we pray, not
for new earth or heaven, but to be
quiet in heart, and in eye
clear. What we need is here.

I'm feeling much better, thank you for your kind words, I'm thinking of my friend L.S. today who's really been put though the ringer, your courage and spirit never cease to amaze and inspire, wishing you more peaceful days ahead.
Since it is the weekend you might want to peruse Tom Mangelsen's gorgeous artwork and videos, brought to my attention by a sweet etsy friend from Nebraska, what a treat!
Happy weekend all!, xo Ro

quiet in heart, and in eye

So glad you are feeling better and thank you for sharing all those amazing images. I adore the banner flowers too - so dangly and gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandra, the flowers in the banner shot are one type of our native currants, I took the shot the other day out hiking in our hills, they look so pretty backlit by the early sun.
ReplyDeleteI wanted a new HAPPY banner :)
Hummingbirds love the fuchsia shaped flowers, you always hear them zinging by when you photograph them.
You are lucky to have such lovely native currants. I imagine the hummingbirds enjoy them, yes! :) It's truly a happy banner.
DeleteWhat a welcome back with these incredible photos...oh that precious owl & that fluffy Marty! Good to hear you're strength is returning as well!
