Avi-on the Brain

I'm still sitting with the birds, in fact I'm not sure when I'll be ready to leave. I had a busy little weekend finishing these beauties, soldering everything together, checking it twice, three times, to make sure all was perfect.

 I filled all the windows with special little stones.

It's so hard to get them to sing all at once so I just basted them in bright sunlight, sort of like an interrogation room......"sing like a canary" and they do :)

Montana, moss and plume agates adorn this beauty....

and this one as well.

Here's to a bright little week ahead, happy Monday all, xoxo Ro

    1. Thank you DJ, it's spring here, not by the calendar but the birds are all singing, things are blooming and those pesky ground squirrels are even running around.

      I hope winter doesn't give up this easily!

  4. Well, gosh...your glowing beauties have already flown the coop! They're really gorgeous Ro, the stones, the settings, each a story from your trails. I bet they sing a little, too =)

    Doing some rearranging in the bat cave. I love my standing station so much (although I highly recommend getting an anti-fatique mat!) I think I'll get one built for my computer desk, too. So switching tables and trying it out--or is that on??--for size!

    Have a terrific week!

    1. Okay. Obviously there is supposed to be a g in fatigue and not a q. (I don't know why but I keep doing that!!) =}

    2. It's rather cute and French with a Q, who made all these rules anyway?

      It must be the season, I've been cleaning too and reorganizing in my house, my studio is a mess which means I'm working :)

    3. Ha ha! I just had an image of me--a bumpkin at heart--being sophisticatedly (ooh, that IS a word!) French and found myself snorting out loud. How do you say...C'est la vie..? (One of the best things about writing: learning that you can break ALL the rules. Well, okay, maybe not ALL the rules, but enough to delight one's unruly inner child.)

      I love it when my work space is messy, too. Until I can't bear it anymore then I love it when it's spic-and-span!

    1. Thank you Caroline, oh boy when those bracelets are finished they are so pretty, the best part is always dropping those stones in.

      I get a little down when spring threatens in February to be honest.

    2. Me. Too. I awoke to loud cooing the other morning--'our' mourning doves are back--and in my sleep-addled state mumbled something like, "You're two months early--go back to bed!"
