Sunshine Blue Skies

I been a bit of a crafting fool lately, a varied set of orders has pulled me in a lot of different directions. this is where I went yesterday and on into the evening, you can now find them here.

I can get pretty excited when the stones just need to be dropped in and the pieces oxidized and finished so I just kept at it. The weather here has been warm, too warm for winter but today.....

today, we're playing "The Rain Song" and in todays confessional I'm gong to tell you I have a secret crush on Jimmy Page so now it's your turn, come on...... we're all friends here...

Nice weather for indoor activities like counting spaceships or tapping away on metal.

xoxo Ro

Did you see the Kennedy Center Awards Show (just recently)?
Led Zeppelin was honored & oh my, my, as Jimmy, Robert & John Paul watched Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Foo Foo Fighters & Heart perform their classics they showed photo stills throughout their career...i was dancing in my buckskins...it's awesome & the performances some of the best I've seen!

...confession: the 1st time I heard my Dad play Angry Eyes by Loggins & Messina, I grabbed the album & stared at the 2 fellows on the cover & fell in love with the moustached, longhaired, mountain man with the incredible voice...Kenny Loggins!

    4. Hi Nancy,

No, I wish I would have seen the award show but I missed it, Eric caught it and told me it was wonderful.

I LOVE The Rain Song, Bryce plays it well, I request it often, our idea of a rain dance, sometimes it works! BTW JP looks even better now older :)

My sister was in love with Kenny Loggins, he has a ranch here in Ojai, or he did anyway.

      Kenny the lab!!!!!!!! HA ha!!!

My favorite name yet...."Stickerweed" simply the BEST!!

    5. i had wanted to search for that ranch in Ojai many a time...and au contraire mon amie, it was Loggins the lab, AKA LoggieDoggie...blame it on youth.

  3. Hmmm... If the category is: sexy singers who I have a secret crush on, then my answer would not normally be Sting.

But... I found this video of his beautiful rendition of "Shape of My Heart" a few years ago and I hereby confess that I swooned more than a little:

    1. Man, I must be sleepy today! My brain finally kicked in about 10 mins. late and I realized that I thought you wrote "Robert Plant" and instead of "Jimmy Page". So, I guess we're really talking about sexy guitar players. :-) Actually, that makes me feel so relieved... Jimmy Page I can totally understand! Personally, I've never gotten the allure that Robert Plant has for a lot of women.

  4. Oh , YES, this is beautiful Harsi, swoon worthy indeed!
Nope not such a fan either of Mr Plant, though my niece met him at the store she worked in and said he was a perfect gentleman.

    1. John Irving... OK, I googled his photo (as instructed).

Yup, I can see the crush-potential there! My only complaint... he should smile more.

I present, as evidence, photo #1... A very cute guy:
