Smattering

I'm having fun working away in the biggest mess you've ever seen, when you do this kind of work you need every tool you can get your hands on, you only put them away to bring them all back out. When things are too clean it just means you've run out of ideas or have lost the desire.

I put a call into my niece who is coming this evening to help with modeling. It takes a village when you can't /wont model your own work. I'll be listing these new pieces on etsy tomorrow along with whatever else I might dream up today.

I hiked under cloudy skies this morning with a smattering of rain drops, the weather is wonderfully cool and the scents, divine.

Have a good day, lovey dovie, covey, xo Robird

  7. Now THIS looks like an October collection!!! Love the colors and textures you captured here...along with the stone choices, of course.

Heeheheheeee, all the tools--that's how I write, bake, garden, bead, pretty much anything else--you gotta get everything OUT so you see what you have to work with!

I agree with Deb and Songbird on pretty much everything they said, Robird--looks like you're soaring for sure. Enjoy that COOL air!!

You're so right about the mess, shove it over and tap away, keyboard, little hammer.

  8. Gorgeous pieces, Ro. Always love your rings. You find the loveliest stones. (Have we seen that creamy colored cab with the blue striations before? I could almost swear I saw something very similar recently and thought of you. How weird.)

From Saturday on we have five days of rain forecast! Time to find my gumboots! =)

  9. Bahaha! I just had a Scooby 'Huhhh?' moment!

...five days of rain FORECAST, not forest! =)

Although five days in a rainforest while it's raining does sound kind of good!

MATRIX! That's the word I was trying to think of! It's a beauty.

    1. Haha! Well, after the entirely unproductive week I've had (and I'm SO close to finishing a piece, too!) I think maybe some 'shrooms' are exactly what I need, you know, to help with those fairy sightings! =D
