    1. Wait! Do you some mule skinners..........

      I loved that clasp the minute I saw it. We were in an old mining town making grilled cheese sandwiches on our camp stove when I spotted it. Now I want my own team to drive the wagon ;)

      Sorry about your team yesterday.

  6. Good morning, CaLaMiTy Ro!

    He heeeeee! Sadly, the closest mule to me is in the shoe department at TJ Maxx. {mwah haha} That's my Monday confessional...

    Just finished reading ALL about mules on Wikipedia...very interesting BTW :o).

    **Will we see your creation on Etsy at some point?** (C,mon you guys, I know you're wondering too!)

    And yes -- quite a game with the Pats!!!!! Two evenly matched teams which made for an exciting game. {Brady is amazing, but good for E. Manning.}

    Sending love your way ♥...am off to try to spread some joy "Ro-style" on this Monday!

  11. :-) Behind the times today--this clasp is GREAT, Calamity Ro, can't wait to operate one some day, like any good gate in the West. :-) You are a silver engineer bar none...and I'd bet on you to be a fine mule skinner as well.

    Mules at the Maxx...haahaahaaaaa!!

    I have GOT to dip into the Border Trilogy, get a flavor of Western spunk, boots and backbone.

    (Or maybe I just need to visit old mining towns and make grilled cheese sandwiches....Yeehaw!)

    1. True it does look like an old gate but it's actually on the back of an old wagon. I took the picture as a reference to copy.

      I hope you do read The Border Trilogy or at least "All the Pretty Horses" I know you would love it. It keeps me in the turquoise at present.

      Mules at the Maxx :) :)
