Weekend Pictorial

After a great studio day Saturday we zoomed down to Laguna Beach to celebrate my father-in-law's 90th birthday just as the sun was sinking into the Pacific beyond his balcony.

I shot some collages in his collages, another realm, come inside......

One of Annies wonderful cake creations, dark chocolate and sugar paste pond life.

Making a wish.....

The dry desert wind kicked up Sunday and blew our power out. I tried to work but it became so hot in my studio, it was impossible, so I gave up and took to the hills for a picnic with my girlfriend to watch the sunset.

We stayed until well after dark, enjoyed the moon, the barking coyotes, the call of the owl then wandered back down to our lives.

*hand held shot of the moo oo on s and the city :)

Happy Halloween everybody!

My ring extravaganza will be delayed until Wednesday due to scheduling with Laura and the fact that every time I choose a day it seems to put the kibosh on my studio time, spooooooky!
