The weather here is HOT but there are no fires (fingers crossed)

*Bluebird pair with their heads submerged.

bluebirds find a way to cool off in the garden.

Hodgepodge group in the pool.

Since the only place to be is inside, it's best to keep busy.

My girlfriend called yesterday and asked what I was doing. "Multitasking" I said, "I'm bleaching my teeth, listening to Slaughterhouse Five on my pod and making jewelry" :)

And so

it has taken me

all of sixty years

to understand

that water is the finest drink,

and bread the most delicious food,

and that art is worthless

unless it plants

a measure of splendor in people's hearts.

Have a wonderful weekend xo Ro

  1. Oh, cool.

I love this excerpt from Twigs. I agree with all of the above, and can tell you that your art (well, Darrow art in general) is SO valuable. It is because it is dear, and prized, and imparts a GREAT measure of splendor in our hearts ♥. Thank you :)

Have a weekend filled with wonder yourself!

  6. Crossing fingers and toes there will be no fires.
The clouds were incredible today, weren't they?
